Sako Voices, a Canadian Language Service Provider specializing in African, rare and underserved languages, is seeking a qualified Somali–French female interpreter for an upcoming immigration/legal interpretation assignment.
Assignment details
- Date: September 22, 2026
- Time: 1:30 p.m.
- In-person interpretation preferred
- Video interpretation may be considered if an in-person interpreter is unavailable
- Field: Immigration / Legal Services
- Canada-based applicants required
- Ottawa-based applicants strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Fluency in Somali and French
- Professional interpretation experience
- Strong consecutive interpretation skills
- Professional, reliable and punctual
- Experience in immigration, legal or community interpreting is an asset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards
