Event Setup & Tear Down Staff – Decor Team

Position Overview
We are looking for dependable and detail-oriented Event Setup & Tear Down Staff to support our décor team for the 2026 season. This role focuses on executing high-quality event setups and tear-downs, ensuring all décor elements are installed with precision and care.
The ideal candidate is flexible, creative, physically capable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Setup (Décor Focus)
- Load, transport, and unload event décor and materials
- Install décor elements including backdrops, centerpieces, floral arrangements, signage, and styling details
- Follow design plans and direction to execute events to company standards
- Ensure all setups are completed on time and reflect a polished, high-end finish
- Event Tear Down
- Carefully dismantle décor installations after events
- Pack and protect items to prevent damage during transport
- Load items back onto trucks and ensure all inventory is accounted for
- On-Site Support
- Assist with last-minute adjustments and styling changes on-site
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence at all venues
- Represent the company with a strong attention to detail and care
Requirements
- Reliable access to a vehicle (required)
(Many event locations may not be accessible by public transportation)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended shifts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Experience with event décor setup or styling
- Floral design experience or familiarity with handling floral arrangements is a strong asset
- Eye for design and attention to visual detail
- Previous event or hospitality experience
