Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and processing payments accurately.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about drinks and menu items, and providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking practices.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Comply with all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in bartending roles within the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and cocktail recipes.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours efficiently.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a hospitality setting.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations related to food safety and responsible beverage service is a plus.
