The positions involve preparing food for office catering, events, buffet and reception style stand up events, as well as going onsite to events. Onsite work may inlcude BBQ, buffets, family style and plated dinners. No line cooking

The Little Piggy kitchen abounds with natural light, ample space and happy people. These are customer forward positions, you must be presentable and courteous. Shifts are mainly daytime and evening shifts and tend to finish by 8-9pm. We operate 7 days a week. Weekend availability is required.
Qualifications:
-Drivers license and willingness to drive (vehicle not required)
-Weekday and weekend availability
-Min 3 years professional kitchen experience is a must - this does not include fast food, or quick service.
-Culinary education is an asset
-Comfort with grilling and carveries is an asset
-Must be comfortable taking responsibility for your work, working with limited supervision.
-Must be able to work with, and without, formal recipes.
-Physical fitness appropriate for kitchen and offsite catering work (extended periods of standing, lifting up to 50lbs etc...).

$23-27 hr, based on experience and position applied for. Enhanced wage when working at events ($35/hr). Extended health, dental and vision available after probationary period (must work min 20 hrs a week). OT and mileage compensated. Annual wage review. Training allowance and apprenticeship opportunities available.
