Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using Brink POS, ensuring proper entry and timely delivery
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing time effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus but not mandatory
