About the Role
Belle Pulses is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team in the grain processing sector. This role sits at the intersection of Food Safety and Customer Service—perfect for someone who likes both building relationships and making things happen behind the scenes.
You’ll support the production team in ensuring that Belle Pulses is producing the highest quality green and yellow peas products, ensuring customers get what they need, when they need it.
The Impact You'll Make
Your focus is administering our Food Safety Management System in Duck Lake, Sk. to support the production of high-quality ingredients for our customers. You’ll maintain compliance records, monitor operational activities, and collaborate with the rest of the team.
What You'll Do
1. Perform regular QA monitoring and verification activities, working directly with the production team.
2. Organize food safety records, assist with internal and external audits.
3. Track quality & food safety KPI’s, reporting results and identifying trends.
4. Review and refresh FSMS documentation as needed; such as the HACCP Plan, SOPs, GMP’s, and checklists.
5. Support food safety training of new employees and facilitate refresher food safety training of existing staff.
What You'll Bring
1. Professional experience and a thorough understanding of QA’s role within GFSI-Certified food companies.
2. Formal Training and demonstrated knowledge of HACCP plans and Food Safety Programs.
3. Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new software.
5. Clear, professional English communication skills—both written and verbal.
6. Excellent attention to detail with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
