Under the responsibility of the Health, safety and environment coordinator, the technician has the responsibilities to support H&S for the operation. He needs to make follow-ups on different projects, to hold training sessions, to audit H&S processes and make recommendations of continuous improvement to the coordinator and to the H&S committee.
Brief summary of the function :

Hold Health & Safety audit and make the follow-up with the responsibles, supervisors, managers.

Follow-up on corrective action put in place.

Hold different training sessions on H&S (Locking, WHMIS).

Analyze potential risks for H&S and make recommendations to the coordinator and H&S committee.

Analyze environmental impacts and make follow-ups.
-
Manage the inventory of the protective equipments and first aid kits.

Support and maintain the H&S culture at work.

Prepare and organize the visits of the kinesiologist and the ostheopath.

Prepare H&S committee and make the administrative management.
