Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent time management, food safety awareness, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Previous experience with POS systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Engage with customers to create a positive and memorable experience
- Use POS systems to process orders, payments, and handle cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling and adherence to health regulations
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Follow all responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest ages for serving alcohol
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable
