Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying paint to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety and aesthetic standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are highly valued. Prior experience in dealership settings or automotive repair is a plus, along with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand and power tools.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Mix paints and other coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and consistency
- Perform touch-ups and detailed work to ensure a flawless appearance
- Maintain a clean work area and properly store tools and materials
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Assist with minor repairs or mechanical tasks as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge and hand tools
Requirements
- Proven experience as a painter, preferably in dealership or automotive environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair or similar fields is advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience with automotive painting or mechanic experience is desirable
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks effectively
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
