Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues or service requests
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, ensuring customer understanding
- Prepare detailed repair orders and communicate work scope to technicians
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and ensure satisfaction upon completion of service
- Maintain organized records of service history and customer interactions
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services
Skills
- Previous dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Proven ability in sales, including upselling services to customers
- Effective communication skills to explain technical information clearly
- Cash handling experience with accuracy and integrity
