About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial heating and cooling systems. This role is field-based and requires travel to client sites to ensure timely and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
- Perform repairs, routine maintenance, and emergency service calls on residential or commercial HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Conduct inspections and tests to determine system functionality and ensure compliance with applicable codes.
- Install replacement parts, refrigerants, belts, motors, thermostats, and filters as required.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and costs.
- Document service reports, recommendations, and completed work via mobile app or paper logs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, local HVAC codes, and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, products, and technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience preferred.
- Valid G2/G1 Gas License (for Ontario) or equivalent certification and/or valid 313D or 313A Refrigeration License
- EPA or ODP certification.
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC.
- Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawlspaces, etc.).
Nice to Have:
- Red Seal certification.
- Smart home integration experience.
- Familiarity with HVAC software or digital dispatching tools.
- 313D or 313A Refrigeration License

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
