Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are physically active. Our kitchen has a friendly Asian team environment, and we welcome candidates who are motivated to learn and grow in the food service industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation according to kitchen standards
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Support cooks and chefs during busy service hours
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Restock kitchen supplies and report inventory shortages
- Perform general kitchen cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas
- Work with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 20–25 kg
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Must be available to work on Sundays
- Punctual, reliable, and hardworking
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work well in a multicultural team (Asian team environment is an advantage)
Experience
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset but not required
- Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Training will be provided for the right candidate
