Bob Robinson & Son Construction has many internal policies and procedures in place that must be followed by all team members, including management. Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid G driver’s license with clean drivers abstract and adequate vehicle to get to work.
- DPT certification is a strong asset.
- Must be willing to work 10–12-hour shifts.
- On-call for emergency calls as they come in. Extra compensation included.
- Willing to work an afternoon shift (12:00pm - 8:00pm) + At home on call 8:00pm - 6:00am)
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete various sewer and gas locates, both Planned/Project and Natural Gas Sewer Safety Inspection's (NGSSIs).
- Identify different cleanout types and which is the best method to complete the locate.
- Use camera equipment to gain video of inside of the asset for proof of no conflict.
- Sewer and drain snaking when required. Although this is not the main component of the position, there are some instances where this is required.
- Physical work includes, but is not limited to: loading and unloading the vehicle with the necessary equipment to complete the job, opening various clean out types to gain access to the desired asset for locate completion, working in various weather conditions, lifting 20lbs or more, walking on uneven/hard to reach surfaces.
- Hand in and be proactive with the paperwork and video deliverables associated with completing the locates.
- Communication with supervisors and other office/management staff on a consistent and respectful basis.
- Ability to take constructive criticism when it comes to your deliverables and are always willing to improve.
