Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Operate hydraulic fracturing equipment including pumps, blenders, and related machinery to execute fracturing treatments according to established procedures and guidelines.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain the quality of fracturing fluids and proppants, ensuring they meet specified standards and requirements.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting pre-job safety checks on equipment.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or operational issues during fracturing operations, taking prompt corrective action to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate fracturing activities, communicate job progress, and address any challenges encountered during operations.
Documentation: Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly, including job reports, equipment maintenance records, and safety documentation.
Environmental Compliance: Follow environmental regulations and best practices to minimize the impact of fracturing operations on the surrounding ecosystem and community.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in hydraulic fracturing operations or a related field is preferred, though training may be provided for candidates with relevant mechanical or technical backgrounds.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining hydraulic fracturing equipment, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of fracturing operations.
Safety Consciousness: Commitment to adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations, with a demonstrated track record of promoting a culture of safety in the workplace.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work long hours in demanding outdoor conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, and potentially hazardous chemicals.
Flexibility: Willingness to work day and night shift, including weekends and holidays, in all weather conditions out of town to accommodate the demands of fracturing operations.
Required Qualifications

Must live around the Medicine Hat area or be willing to relocate.

Have clean class 5 drivers abstract.

Hold Class 1 drivers license (or willing to obtain Class 1 - training options are provided)
