Job Description:
The Information Technology Programmer will work alongside other members of the IT team; implementing, supporting and maintaining technologies at The Lake Louise Ski Resort.
Job Responsibilities:

Front-end development and maintenance of UI
-
Back-end engineering of system logic
-
Development and maintenance of business APIs and web pages
-
Migration and refactoring of legacy code to new tech platforms
-
Integration with third-party systems
-
Regular use of documentation and revision control
-
Installations and re-installations, upgrades and updates
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Highly organized and detail-oriented
-
Self-starter – able to prioritize, take ownership of their work, and deal with stressful situations

Experience programming as part of a development team and working to documented specifications
-
Development experience in PHP, Java HTML/CSS, Javascript/jQuery
-
An asset if knowledgeable in Angular, React, or any other modern coding frameworks

Familiar with common Linux packages (Apache, Nginx) and tools (bash, cron)
-
Working experience with containerization (Docker) and version-control (Git)

Working experience with RESTful APIs
-
Experience working with Postman and Swagger an asset
-
Well-versed in current IT trends; interested in developing, implementing, and supporting emerging technologies
