MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct all pre-testing procedures in effective and efficient manner
- Work closely with the doctor and other associates at the office to deliver productive results
- Provide World-Class customer experience, aiding customers with their inquiries, as well as retail sales
- Check patient eligibility
- Maintain electronic health record systems
- Answer phones
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Submission of claims through knowledge of Insurances
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience in medical setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to speak clearly and understandably; hear communications by telephone and in person
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Strict attention to detail and efficiency
- Professional demeanor, including dress-code
- Punctual - must be reliable
- Ability to maintain highest degree of confidentiality at all times
- Takes initiative in self-development
- Performs work in a fashion that others can pick up where left off
- Fosters and promotes a cohesive team
- Practicality - applies information available in a sensible way to function in the job
- Questioning - ability and willingness to orally seek out information in order to complete work in an effective and accurate manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A two-year degree or equivalent work experience
- Bilingual is a plus
- Experience in Optical/Optometry office is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
