Crown Ridge Health Care Services Inc operates Westgate Lodge Long-Term Care home, located in Belleville, Ontario. Westgate Lodge will be the home to 160 long-term care residents.

Part-time Dietary Aides

WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Participate with other members of the Nutritional Care Team to meet the nutritional needs of all residents
- Prepare snack items in compliance with Ministry of Health requirements and dietary standards
- Plate meals with care and attention to presentation and accuracy
- Deliver meals to residents while providing friendly, respectful service
- Clear dining areas, wash dishes, and complete general kitchen cleaning duties
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention protocols
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with staff, residents, families, and the public

WHAT WILL YOU BRING ALONG
- Food handlers certificate or willing to get
- Vulnerable sector check that is less than 6 months old at the time of hire
- TB test steps 1 and 2 proof and 1 step in last 6 months until two step obtained in last year.
- Good communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Be aligned with our company values and culture
- Availability for call-in shifts to support operational needs
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Long-Term Care Homes Act, and their regulations in performing duties safely and following all Crown Ridge Healthcare Health & Safety policies, procedures, and legislation
