St. Jude’s Anglican Home is a 55 bed complex care home nestled in a west-side residential neighborhood of Vancouver, British Columbia. Care and services are provided in a home-like environment with the focus on resident needs and desires. The Home is governed by a non-profit society and funded by Vancouver Coastal Health, user fees and donations.

JOB TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse
STATUS: Temporary Part-time (0.734 FTE)
AREA OF WORK: Whole facility
HOURS OF WORK: Days (07:00 – 15:00) and Evenings (15:00 – 23:00)
DAYS OF WORK: Rotating schedule
EFFECTIVE DATE: ASAP
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Registered Nurses and as a member of the health care team, performs nursing procedures and resident care duties in accordance with St. Jude’s philosophy, vision and mission, goals, and objectives.
Provides care to residents in accordance with St. Jude’s policies, procedures, and programs, as well as provincial BCCLPN Standards of Practice. Records observations and reports problems and/or changes to RN. Promote resident and work safety.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a recognized rehabilitation program and must hold a valid British Columbia Practical Nurse License.
PAY RATE:
As per the Provincial Collective Agreement
