We’re looking for someone who has an interest in landscape gardening, maintenance & soft scapeing who has some knowledge, skills &/or education in the industry & wants to focus on plants and build their horticultural skills.
We practice ecologically friendly techniques and use environmentally friendly products to carry out residential property maintenance while always striving to improve the outdoor living spaces of our clients rather than simply maintain.
We do regular maintenance work in residential gardens & Strata properties from Nanoose Bay, Nanaimo to Cedar. We offer complete property care services and are stationed out of central Nanaimo.
Compensation is competitive and is based on relevant training and experience; the starting range is $25.00-30.00/hr. We provide educational opportunities and skills enrichment throughout the work term to help maintain an interesting work environment.
Requirements
- Must have a current BC driver's license in good standing.
- Must be interested in Horticultural work, able to work out door in all weather
- Ability to identify common garden plants, and knowledge of their cultural requirements
- Must be capable of repetitive work such as, but not limited to; hand pruning, raking, weeding & digging.
- Must be fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate equipment: Push lawn mower, blower, trimmer, hedging shears, comfortable on ladders
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks such as digging and planting.
- Positive, personable, organized, efficient

- Ability to ID plants and knowledge of their horticultural requirements
- Familiarity with irrigation system operation, repair, troubleshooting
