Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Processor to join our food manufacturing team. Duties
- Operate and monitor food processing equipment to ensure proper functioning and product quality
- Assist with packaging food items accurately and efficiently, adhering to safety standards
- Use forklifts and other machinery safely to move raw materials and finished products within the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, following strict food safety protocols
- Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures related to food processing and manufacturing operations
- Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and materials needed for production
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of packaging techniques is a plus
- Understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and quality checks
- Strong commitment to food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and adhere to safety protocols
