Overview
We have an immediate need for an experienced Translator to provide high-quality English-to-French translation and revision services for customer and corporate communications. The successful candidate will ensure all French materials are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time while maintaining translation standards, terminology, and brand consistency.
Responsibilities
- Translate and revise English-to-French corporate and customer communications.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all translated materials.
- Produce French content for print and digital formats, including web pages and publications.
- Maintain translation memories, glossaries, and terminology databases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify content and resolve translation issues.
- Manage multiple translation projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Translation.
- Minimum 7 years of professional English-to-French translation experience.
- Excellent English and French grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience with CAT tools and translation memory software.
- Superior rating on the Language Proficiency Evaluation.
- Experience with InDesign, SharePoint, HTML/CSS,
- Agricultural or Insurance terminology is an asset.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate recent English-to-French translation, revision, proofreading, CAT tools, and corporate communications experience on their resume.
Pay: $44.00-$52.00 per hour
