Requirements:
- Figure Skating Background
- 18 years old or older
- Basic First Aid Knowledge
- Police Background Check (VSC)
- G2 or G license with a Vehicle to travel with.
- Bonus if you know how to rollerblade/rollerskate!
Days/Times: We are currently searching for instructors available over the following program days:
- Friday evenings between 4:00PM-8:00PM
- Saturdays between 12:00PM-7:00PM
We are currently hiring for instructors that are available to teach in Oakville.
There will be an on-ice and off-ice interview to follow if successful.
About SWC Academy
Founded in 2016, SWC Academy began with a passion for teaching and a focus on toddlers taking their first steps on the ice. Over the past ten years, we’ve grown into an academy welcoming skaters of all ages —including our oldest skater at 76 years young!— and abilities, including our Diverse Abilities Program for children with special needs. Our commitment to individualized instruction, confidence-building, and a supportive learning environment has made us a trusted name in private skating education.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- This role requires a G2 or G license and a reliable vehicle for your own transportation, as seasonal conditions can make public transit unpredictable. Can you confirm you meet these transportation requirements?
- We are hiring for the below hours. Are you available within the requested hours/availability of:
1. Friday evenings between 4:00PM-8:00PM
2. Saturdays between 12:00PM-7:00PM
- Our programs run 12–15 weeks with pre-set seasonal schedules. Consistency drives growth for both skaters and coaches. Can you commit to the full program without conflicts?
