Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, crafting delicious beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized Pub area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, upselling and making recommendations.
- Handle a float and processing payments.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the bar and restaurant area.
- Flexibility to work evenings and or weekends including Sundays.
Experience
- 2 Years previous experience in a service environment or a related role in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Upselling such as cheese, gravy, or bacon.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and managing transactions.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant, bar, & patio area.
