We are looking for Head Housekeeper to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign daily room and cleaning duties
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Monitor room status and communicate regularly with the front desk and maintenance departments
- Ensure rooms are completed accurately and on time for guest check-in
- Manage housekeeping supplies, linens, amenities, and inventory
- Report maintenance concerns and follow up to ensure repairs are completed
- Assist with cleaning rooms, laundry, and public areas when required
- Maintain proper lost-and-found procedures
- Ensure staff follow workplace safety, cleaning, and chemical-handling procedures
- Address performance concerns and help maintain a positive, productive work environment
Job Expectations:
- Lead by example and maintain a professional attitude
- Be reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Be available to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as required
- Be comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing physical duties throughout the shift
- Communicate clearly with management and other departments
- Take responsibility for the overall cleanliness and presentation of the property
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience required
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and solve problems independently
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and workplace safety
This a full-time, year-round position at Waterton Glacier Suites
