The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated and growth-oriented Junior Sales Representative (Hybrid Inside/Outside) to join our Oshawa team. This is a developmental role designed for someone early in their sales career who is eager to build experience both in-office and in the field.
In this hybrid position, you’ll be responsible for generating and qualifying leads through outbound outreach, while also attending meetings with prospective clients. As you develop, you’ll take ownership of opportunities you generate, with support from senior team members on higher-volume accounts.
This role offers a clear progression path into a full outside sales position.
How the Role Works
- You will generate and book meetings through outbound calls and email campaigns.
- Meetings booked at a frequency of 1–3 per week: you will attend and run these meetings independently.
- Meetings booked at 4+ per week (or higher-value opportunities): these will be transitioned to a senior outside sales representative, allowing you to focus on pipeline development while learning from experienced team members.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to prospective commercial clients (in-office).
- Plan and execute targeted email campaigns to generate and nurture leads.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within key markets.
- Book and manage sales meetings with prospective clients.
- Attend and lead a portion of your booked meetings (on the road).
- Collaborate with senior outside sales reps on larger or high-volume opportunities.
- Maintain and update prospect information using CRM systems.
- Follow up consistently to move leads through the sales pipeline.
- Track outreach performance and refine messaging and approach.
Who You Are
- Early in your sales career or looking to break into B2B sales.
- Motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new people daily.
- Confident, persistent, and resilient in a target-driven environment.
- Organized and able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM systems and sales tools.
- A team player who collaborates well and takes feedback constructively.
