Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks in team configurations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Coordinate with team members for efficient loading, unloading, and delivery of freight
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain vehicle performance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and safety records throughout your shift
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably in team truck operations
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
