Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Flooring/Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of kitchen/room functionality. This role involves collaborating with clients to create beautiful and efficient spaces that meet their needs and preferences. The Candidate will utilize 2020 software to produce detailed designs, while also engaging in inside sales activities to promote our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for kitchen designs and layouts.
- Provide expert advice on materials and finishes.
- Manage the sales process from initial consultation through to project completion.
- Engage in upselling opportunities by showcasing high-end products and services.
- Maintain relationships with clients through effective account management and follow-up.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent cashiering services.
- Assist in merchandising displays to enhance product visibility in the showroom.
- Participate in marketing efforts to promote home design services within the community.
- Ensure all projects adhere to timelines and budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 2020 software is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Background in outside sales, retail sales, or high-end sales preferred, but not a requirement.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in construction or related fields is beneficial.
