Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Welder (2-3rd year apprentice). Due to the nature of our business, you may not always be required to weld. We are a custom metal fabrication shop and jobs change weekly. You must be willing to work on other machinery, complete installs and help where needed. We are looking for someone who is flexible and a team player.
Required Skills
- You must have experience with high & low volume setups (prototype style).
- Able to read & understanding drawings
- Able to speak and ready english is a MUST
- Must have experience working within a manufacturing environment
- MIG/TIG/STICK
- Experience with Steel, Aluminum & Stainless
- Expereince with welding aluminum is a MUST
- Willing to work offsite completing installs
- experience of 2 years
- Able to ALSO work on band saw, iron worker, drill & punch presses
- Able to precisely use and read squares, protractors, and calipers
- Capable of accurately reading a tape measure
- Physically capable of frequently lifting in excess of 50lbs
- Have Steel Toe footwear
- Reliable transportation
- Comply with all safety policies, company practices and procedures
- Practice safe and proper use of machinery and tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Treat coworkers with dignity and respect at all times
- We are looking for someone with leadership characteristics and a positive attitude. We run a clean shop, and focus on quality.
- Able to speak and read English is a MUST
