Overview
We are seeking an Elite and dedicated Soccer Coach to join our high performance soccer program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a love for youth development through sports. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young athletes, promote teamwork, and foster a love for soccer while contributing to their physical and social growth. Only licensed coach* a plus, as it demonstrates versatility and a commitment to diverse athletic skills. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working with children and sports enthusiasts with the goal to guide them to the professional level.
Duties
- Plan and conduct engaging soccer practices tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Teach fundamental soccer skills, game strategies, and sportsmanship principles
- Organize and oversee youth soccer games, ensuring safety and fair play
- Provide constructive feedback to players to improve their technique and confidence
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive attitude among participants
- Coordinate with parents, guardians, and program coordinators regarding player progress and schedules
- Assist in organizing related activities such as warm-ups, drills, and team-building exercises
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety guidelines, including basic swimming safety if applicable
Experience
- Prior experience in coaching or teaching youth sports is preferred
- Strong knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and training methods
- Experience in teaching or working with children is highly desirable
- Familiarity with swimming or aquatic activities is a nice-to-have skill that indicates versatility in athletic instruction
- Ability to communicate effectively with young athletes, parents, and team staff
- Enthusiasm for sports education and fostering a positive environment for youth development
