Coghlan Psychotherapy is a growing clinic that combines play and therapy to support families through their most difficult challenges. We see a wide range of concerns facing kids and teens, including trauma, behavioural issues, ADHD, self-esteem, anxiety, adoption, and more. We are looking to expand our team to provide further support for families in the Peterborough / Kawartha area. If you are a clinician who is ready to do meaningful work with kids, we would love to hear from you.
Here’s what we take care of:
- Advertising and marketing
- Billing
- Scheduling
- A fully stocked office space (it’s known as the funnest place in the building)
- Clinical supervision
- Dedicated admin support
Pay ranges from $87.50-$105/hour
This role only has 3 expectations so you can focus on providing amazing services to your clients. You will:
- Provide in-person psychotherapy services for kids, teens, and their parents / caregivers
- Maintain up-to-date files for each client, including session notes and intake forms
- Engage in client communications with relevant third parties as needed
At a minimum, you’ll need the following to qualify:
- An active certificate of registration with the CRPO or the OCSWSSW
- Maintain active liability insurance
- Provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
To sweeten the deal, show us:
- Experience working with kids, teens, and parents
- Certificates for training specific to play therapy and/or therapy for kids
- Skills and experience using Jane and Google Suite
- Availability on evenings and weekends
- Something you experienced as a therapist that confirmed you were in the right field of work
