Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled trades, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in construction trades. Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not mandatory, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills across multiple areas of construction including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and restoration
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks
- Cut and install ceramic tiling
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist with project execution
- Perform caulking, painting, and restoration work to ensure quality finishes
- Help with plumbing installations and repairs as needed
- Support welding tasks and flooring or tile installation projects
- Assist with demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to maintain a safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols and communicate effectively with team members to ensure project efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all skill levels
- Familiarity with hand tools, schematics, blueprints, and basic construction techniques is advantageous
- Experience in carpentry, restoration, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
