We are seeking Audio Visual Techs, with experience running live events, to join our team. Candidates must have a technical background in audio, video & lighting systems, ensuring seamless operation for various events.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the live events industry.
- Must be fluent in spoken English (bilingual proficiency in French is welcome).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and often high-stress environment, alongside a team and event managers/planners in order to effectively and successfully execute events.
- Ability to understand and operate ONYX lighting software, QSC Q-sys systems as well as Analog & Digital mixers.
- Familiarity with both Mac and PC operations that are required for daily operations at events.
- Ability to perform some physical tasks like climbing ladders (working at heights certification is an asset). Lifting and carrying equipment from one area to another.
- Ability to reliably commute to the primary venue and also to a sister venue in Midtown Toronto, on occasion.
Please note that this role requires all techs to liaise and interact with clients and is a customer-facing role.
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
