Internship of four (4) months – Starting in September 2026
The EV Development Intern will be part of the Kruger Energy’s EV team and will provide technical support for the deployment of electric truck projects at various phases, from feasibility analysis to construction and operation. The intern will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments and divisions within Kruger to ensure effective evaluation and execution of projects.

Support the EV team in the various phases of their projects to achieve electric trucks deployment objectives;- Assist in third party equipment/services procurement (define technical specification, equipment acceptance, etc.)
- Develop projects schedules, budgets and other related documentation;
- Perform site visit when required;
- Assess routes electrification feasibility and financial viability;
- Monitor ongoing EV operations using deployed tools such as vehicle telematics and the CMS platform;
- Assist with first-level technical support for issues related to our charging stations and vehicles already in operation;
- Actively participate to meetings and collaborate with other Kruger departments stakeholders (Engineering, Procurement, Accounting, Legal, etc.) and suppliers.
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy engineering, or a related discipline;- Relevant experience from a previous internship;
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite;
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders;
- Good communication skills;
- Good analytical skills;
- Experience and understanding of EV would be an asset;
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering schematics is considered an asset;
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, such as site visits and assessments;
- Competent in both oral and written communication in French and English.
Knowledge of English is required for this specific position as Kruger deals with partners across North America and the successful candidate will be required to communicate frequently with them. Kruger has taken all reasonable steps to avoid imposing English language requirements, including assessing the actual language needs associated with the duties to be performed, ensuring that the language skills already required of other employees were insufficient for the performance of those duties, and limiting as much as possible the number of positions with duties requiring English language skills.
