Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, utilizing a range of tools and equipment to ensure high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong work ethic. MUST have own transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting, sod laying, soil preparation, gravel and interlock
- Operate machinery such as excavators (not required) and power tools safely and effectively
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment for construction and maintenance tasks
- Support team in landscape construction projects, including grading and site preparation
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized following safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience with landscaping, horticulture, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and basic repairs is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction practices related to landscaping projects
- Willingness to learn new skills and work effectively as part of a team
