Overview
4Seasons Home Comfort is seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our HVAC installation and fabrication team. The successful candidate will work with a variety of sheet metal products used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Key Duties
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, architectural plans, sketches, and work orders.
- Lay out, measure, and mark sheet metal materials according to specifications or templates.
- Operate metalworking equipment such as shears, brakes, punches, drill presses, and CNC machinery to cut, bend, form, and shape sheet metal components.
- Set up and use rigging and hoisting equipment safely.
- Fit, assemble, and join sheet metal parts using welding, soldering, riveting, and other fastening methods.
- Fabricate and install HVAC components including ductwork, ventilation shafts, exhaust systems, hoods, eavestroughs, and related assemblies.
- Install sheet metal products in accordance with building codes, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements.
- Grind, buff, and finish seams and joints to ensure proper fit and appearance.
- Inspect completed work and installations to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Install HVAC equipment, c/w venting and connecting to ducting as required
- Read and interpret manufacturers installation instructions
- Install fireplace equipment and vent properly
Skills
- Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker certification (required).
- 4-5 Years experience in HVAC fabrication and installation is required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency with metalworking tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
