Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Ironworker Foreman to join our team. This role is ideal for ironworkers with 5 years of structural steel or miscellaneous steel experience. This is an active ironworking position in which the foreman will be performing fabrication and installation while overseeing a small team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Clear understanding and interpretation of shop drawings
- Fabricate and install miscellaneous and structural steel components safely and efficiently
- Perform welding using SMAW processes
- Maintain high standards of safety and quality
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and timelines
- Provide clear direction to team members on fabricating and installing steel per drawings
Qualifications :
- CWB Certified Welder (SMAW) – all positions
- 5 years of structural and miscellaneous steel experience
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Comfortable working on-site in the field
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
