Summary
We are seeking a dedicated part time Greenskeeper to maintain the lush landscapes of our golf courses. Join us in creating an outstanding environment for our guests at Newlands Golf & Country Club.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and care for the golf course grounds, ensuring optimal playability and aesthetics.
- Operate specialized rough mowing equipment to maintain turf areas outside fairways.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on mowing machinery to ensure safe, efficient operation.
- Work closely with the Superintendent and grounds crew to coordinate mowing schedules around play.
- Follow safety protocols while handling equipment and chemicals
Qualifications
- Experience operating large turf or agricultural equipment (golf course experience an asset, but not required).
- A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high quality work.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a team first attitude.
