Verity Construction is hiring full-time painters to work on our sites in across Langford, Colwood and Sooke.
We are seeking an experienced painter with over two years of professional experience to join our dynamic team in the Westshore.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety standards.
- Estimate materials needed and assist in project planning.
- Support restoration projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of professional painting experience in residential or commercial settings.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Own vehicle.
- Spray experience an asset.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
