Responsibility
Participate in procurement and contracting dimensions of projects and/or management requirements, performing impact analyses and taking appropriate actions as directed.
Keep abreast of global contracting trends; benchmark with market and industry data.
Analyze service-level compliance to ensure that required services are provided and meet the budgeted timeline, quality and costs;
Keeps documented records of commitments made and understanding between the Company and its customers, subcontractors or suppliers
Ensure that full documentation of contract terms, vendor performance, systems, software and hardware changes are made available and updated regularly.
Reports requested contractual changes and risks to management and business unit.
Provides thorough and timely review of documents drafted by other parties identifying, evaluating and mitigating commercial risk to the company.
Stays informed and makes others aware of the business area’s procurement activities, procedures and policies at all times
Working relationship with all sites: Canada, US, Central America, etc.
Profile & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, law, information systems
Strong knowledge and understanding around financial management, contracts and legal issues.
IT procurement and negotiation is an asset
Strong understanding of the global IT products and services market and its trends.
Excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills in both official languages (French & English), Other languages are an asset.
7 years’ experience in IT contract compliance management role
Available to travel
Availability for uncommon working schedule.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
Ability to share information with peers and transfer knowledge
