The Aircraft Structural Engineer performs various engineering tasks related to aircraft structures.
Under the Engineering Director your main responsibilities will include:
- Review the structural work performed on the aircraft and ensure it is within the acceptable margins.
- Validate and enter all structural repairs performed on aircraft in to the internal database.
- Help with the development of aircraft interior parts.
- Structurally analyze components for installation on the aircraft.
- Draft stress reports.
- Support the engineering department as required.
- On site airline support in airline hangar (Dorval).
Preferred Qualifications And/or Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 2 - 6 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Experience with designing, manufacturing and analyzing aircraft components, systems and interiors.
- Experience working with TCCA, FAA or EASA (an asset).
- In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of airframe manufacturer requirements for cabin interiors including emergency landing conditions, HIC etc.
- Knowledge of airframe manufacturer NDT and SRM manuals.
- Knowledge of Amos (an asset).

Pay: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
