Job Summary
WOKBOYZ ASIAN STREET FOOD is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional Asian cuisine and outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for the food industry. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, managing staff, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The Food Service Supervisor will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to quality, efficiency, and hospitality excellence.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Manage team members through interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Ensure high levels of customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Lead by example in food presentation, hospitality, and teamwork to foster a positive work environment
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team management and staff development
- Familiarity with restaurant management operations including cash handling, inventory control, and food safety protocols
- Prior experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or bars is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Knowledge of food industry standards, kitchen operations, and serving procedures
