Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Night Watchman/woman to oversee the security of our premises and clients during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of property, staff, and clients by monitoring the site through surveillance systems and conducting regular patrols. This role is essential in preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, maintaining a secure environment throughout the night.
Duties
- Conduct routine patrols of the property to identify and address potential security issues.
- Monitor surveillance equipment to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior.
- Respond promptly to alarms or security breaches, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Report any safety hazards or security concerns to management immediately.
- Assist in controlling access points and verifying identification when required.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance roles is preferred.
- Experience in loss prevention or crime prevention strategies is a plus.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight hours for extended periods.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential for effective monitoring.
