Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Intermediate Tandoori Chef / Kitchen Helper to join our small restaurant team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience working in an Indian restaurant kitchen, especially with tandoor cooking and general kitchen support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook tandoori items such as naan, roti, kebabs, and tikkas
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen setup
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy hours
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Help with inventory and stocking supplies when needed
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in an Indian restaurant kitchen
- Basic knowledge of tandoor cooking
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
