Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist & Esthetician to join our beauty team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to provide clients with exceptional hair styling and skincare services in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, professional expertise in hair and skin treatments, and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments with attention to client preferences and current trends
- Provide esthetician services such as facials, skin analysis, waxing, and other skincare treatments
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety and hygiene
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable services, and upsell retail products to enhance their experience
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling client inquiries professionally
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by delivering excellent customer service and building lasting client relationships
- Assist with retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided
- Ensure all services are performed efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Valid state licenses for both hairstyling and esthetician services
- Proven experience in hair styling and skincare treatments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client interactions
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist at the front desk as needed
- Retail sales experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for promoting products is essential
- Front desk experience or comfort handling appointments and client inquiries is preferred
