Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join our busy hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment to support food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, a strong work ethic, and an interest in the hospitality industry. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service settings is a plus but not required. Duties
- Responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using established sanitation procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and setup
- Support kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness of workstations and ensuring supplies are stocked
- Help with waste disposal and recycling to uphold health and safety standards
- Ensure all kitchen areas meet hygiene standards and comply with health regulations
- Assist in food service operations when required, including serving guests or delivering food items
- Maintain a tidy work environment by organizing storage areas and cleaning surfaces regularly
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions accurately
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about kitchen operations and hospitality standards
