Hours: 15-20 hours per week, 3-4 shifts per week (4-5 hours each), Monday through-Saturday

We are an early intervention clinic providing specialized therapy for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Specifically, we implement the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) treatment model, and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) interventions. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, developmentally appropriate, and effective intervention program to reduce the challenges associated with a diagnosis of Autism in our students.

An Office Assistant at UP would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Managers and other staff members, including answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments and meetings, managing inventory and supplies, organizing files and documents, and assisting with other tasks and projects as required.
The Office Assistant would play a role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office, while also supporting the mission of UP to deliver high-quality, individualized services to clients and families. The Office Assistant at UP would have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with the potential for growth and advancement within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and other events as required
- Perform billing and invoicing activities, ensuring that all billing information is accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain and update patient and vendor records as required
- Manage office inventory and supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at all times
- Manage petty cash funds and ensure that all expenditures are properly recorded and accounted for.
- Accept payments from customers and clients, and process them accurately and efficiently.
- Organize office files and documents, ensuring ensure that all areas of the office are cleaned on a regular basis
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and filing
- Perform opening duties, such as unlocking doors, turning on lights, and setting up equipment for the day's operations.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as required
