Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Hairstylist to join our team. This leadership role requires a professional with strong customer service skills, expertise in hair styling, and a solid understanding of sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, retail sales, and front desk operations, providing exceptional service to clients while supporting the overall success of our salon. As a member of the team, you will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment, upselling services and products, and creating the mood.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality hair styling services tailored to client needs, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling inquiries
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards throughout the salon to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and increase sales
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and building lasting relationships
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient appointment flow
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols relevant to salon environments
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently without being pushy
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Experience in retail sales within a salon or similar setting is preferred
- Previous front desk or administrative experience is a plus
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for representing our brand
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
