Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Mechanic Helper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building a career in the automotive industry and already has at least 1 year of hands-on experience in vehicle service and repair. The ideal candidate will assist technicians with day-to-day maintenance tasks while continuing to learn and grow in a fast-paced shop environment.
We are more than happy to sign the right candidate as an apprentice and support their journey toward becoming a licensed technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and basic repairs
- Support in diagnosing issues by observing and reporting symptoms to senior technicians
- Gather and organize tools, parts, and equipment needed for repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Follow all workplace safety standards and company procedures
- Learn and assist with more advanced repairs under supervision
- Handle basic shop duties and support overall workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in automotive service and repair
- Strong interest in pursuing a long-term automotive career
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift automotive parts
