Note that you MUST currently live within a reasonable commuting distance of our farm. Work schedule is weather dependent and requires flexibility and ability to commute with minimal notice.
You MUST have recent and significant gardening experience.
You MUST be physically able to work for extended periods. Work requires bending, squatting, lifting, and using shovels, trowels, rakes, wheelbarrows, water pumps, hoses and other gardening equipment.
Are you passionate about gardening? Are you interested in permaculture and regenerative farming? Then this may be the job for you. Thyme Again Gardens is an organic seed and fibre farm. Working 2-4 days a week, up to 6 hours a day, you'll be involved in the following activities in line with the biodynamic calendar and permaculture principles:
- planting, watering, weeding in vegetable and perennial gardens
- fall garden cleanup including composting and mulching
- seed harvesting and saving
- herb harvesting, solar dehydrating/drying and other preserving
This contract will start as soon as possible, and continue through November 2026 (weather permitting). There is the possibility of a subsequent contract for the full 2027 season (March to November), depending on performance.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
