Position Description for Maintenance and Repair Technician
A. BASIC FUNCTION: (Purpose of the position)
Under general supervision, perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of moderate complexity in accordance with established procedures. Maintain and Repair the Product Lines within the District, including but not limited to assets tracking, inventory tracking, repair & maintenance, shop cleanliness, quality, training, failure reporting, technical support, and safety issues.
B. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: (List in order of importance)
The primary responsibility will be to assemble, disassemble rental equipment (under supervision) as per work instructions. The individual will assist the Shop supervisor with preparation and testing of the product lines.
Financial responsibility to effectively complete the maintenance and repair of Product Line services within the district to maximize profitability and equipment utilization.
Ensure that equipment reliability standards are continually reviewed and updated.
Ensure that technology, skills, and assets to maintain high equipment reliability standards are continually reviewed and updated.
Assist Operations personnel with technical support as required.
Provide input and feedback to the President & CEO and Operation Supervisor/ Manager on inventory requirements, ensuring
Arrival maintains adequate inventory to sustain ongoing operations and that you are working with operations daily to ensure you understand the upcoming service requirements needed.
Responsible for the development, prioritization and implementation of the Health, Safety and Environment Management
Systems company wide.
Ensure all personnel within the district follow Company HSE standards as well as on all provincial and federal regulations.
C. KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: (Describe skills, knowledge, experience, and education required.)
Five or more years relevant operational experience. Strong working knowledge of all aspects and technologies within the
Product Lines.
Be proficient in reading and interpreting maintenance documents, assembly prints, diagrams, parts lists and following Arrival’s formal procedures.
Must have fundamental knowledge of computer systems and the operation of word processors, email and spreadsheets.
Must possess good leadership skills and be an effective team builder.
D. ACCOUNTABILITIES: (What is the position accountable for and what is its operational impact.)
Directly accountable to the operations supervisor for all issues, including but not limited to, products, services, equipment, and personnel related to the maintenance and repair, Operations inventory management, repair and maintenance scheduling, operations inventory control to ensure we have adequate repair parts to sustain operations. Maintain the shop in a professional manner, maintain accurate records with respect to the assembling, disassembling, testing, shipping, receiving and delivery of our tools.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
